Comment by Donald Fitchett Open Networker on April 11, 2011 at 10:01am Lean 6 sigma and any other initiative, require constant motivation and contact so the cause doesn’t die to any significant degree. Social media is a great platform to be the heart of this requirement for a company to keep 'pumping' involvement and inspiration for the initiative into its employees. Even if the social channel is strictly for employees.
(Like receiving a text message on their phone "We reach 85% OEE!")
Much more complicated, but a reward system for employees who spread news, good words about the company via public social media. (For example are all your employees being on company profile at LinkedIn, etc.) Just as simple example of employees publically supporting their company. :>)
