"First of all the Terms of Use for Facebook state "You will not share your password... let anyone else access your account, or do anything else that might jeopardize the security of your account." Secondly, there are many questions that an employer can not ask during an interview (race, religion, age, marital status etc). Viewing someone's Facebook account could give the employer access to that information. By requesting access, employers are essentially asking these questions and exposing themselves to liability."
