They should have a SEOed company website that competes for their niche keyword phrases world-wide (which includes USA:>) and sell their products worldwide via their website. The up front cost internet marketing and sales is minimum and the ROI (if done right) is greatest out of all marketing and sales expenditures for most business types.
Your certification advice Daniel come under the above. Because a company website done right, needs to be an authority site with creditably indicators (like certifications, BBB rating, D&B number, Gov numbers etc.)
